Coastal Flood Advisory issued April 27 at 8:01PM EDT until April 27 at 10:00PM EDT by NWS Charleston SC
AREAS AFFECTED: Coastal Bryan; Coastal Chatham; Coastal Liberty; Coastal McIntosh; Beaufort; Coastal Jasper
DESCRIPTION: * WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level along shorelines and tidal waterways (9.8 to 10.0 feet Mean Lower Low Water at Fort Pulaski). * WHERE...Beaufort, Coastal Jasper, and coastal southeast Georgia. * WHEN...Until 10 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Saltwater inundation will impact some roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High tide will occur around 8:41 PM today at Fort Pulaski. Saltwater inundation will be possible 1 to 2 hours before and after high tide.
INSTRUCTION: If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Visit water.weather.gov for additional water level and flood impact information.

Cumulus clouds are fluffy and textured with rounded tops, and
may have flat bottoms. The border of a cumulus cloud
is clearly defined, and can have the appearance of cotton or cauliflower.
Cumulus clouds form at low altitudes (rarely above 2 km) but can grow very tall,
becoming cumulus congestus and possibly the even taller cumulonimbus clouds.
When cumulus clouds become taller, they have a greater chance of producing precipitation.
