AREAS AFFECTED: Shawano; Outagamie; Brown
DESCRIPTION: At 511 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms producing a strong gust front along a line extending from Pulaski to Black Creek to near New London. Movement on the gust front was east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Pulaski and Black Creek around 515 PM CDT. Green Bay around 525 PM CDT. Appleton around 540 PM CDT. Little Chute and Bellevue Town around 545 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Little Rapids, Mackville, Hofa Park, Rose Lawn, Kunesh, De Pere, Lambeau Field, Freedom, Hobart, and Leo Frigo Bridge.

Cirrocumulus clouds form at high altitudes (usually around 5 km)
and have distinguishing characteristics displayed in a fine layer of
small cloud patches. These small cloud patches are sometimes referred to as
"cloudlets" in relation to the whole cloud formation.
Cirrocumulus clouds are formed from ice crystals and water droplets. Often, the
water droplets in the cloud freeze into ice crystals and the cloud becomes a
cirrostratus cloud. Because of this common occurrence, cirrocumulus cloud
formations generally pass rapidly.
